15 specially equipped laboratories stand for excellent and practical teaching and application-oriented research.

In the LEOS research cluster, we focus on the realization, characterization and application of semiconductor-based sensor and actuator elements as well as laser-based technologies for processing and structuring a wide range of materials in cooperation with research institutes and industrial partners. We offer you competent know-how for application-oriented research in the fields of semiconductor technology, microsystems technology, optoelectronics, micromaterial processing and microsensor technology.

The Nanochem competence center carries out analyses in the micro and nano range. In addition, Nanochem has specialized in optimizing chemical processes in micro- and nanotechnology and adapting them to special requirements. Nanochem employees are familiar with the entire spectrum of technologies and offer theoretical and practical training in clean room laboratories.

In the development of intelligent sensors, we deal with highly interesting topics such as multifunctional sensor packaging (3D printing; microoptics, microfluidics), complex evaluation algorithms, microoptoelectromechanical sensor systems (MOEMs), trace analysis and human-machine interaction.
