Course of Study

  • Semesters 1–2: OTH Regensburg
    Build the academic foundation for your MEM program in Regensburg and benefit from an international learning environment.

    Semester 3: Partner University in Malaysia

    Choose between two renowned partner universities:

    • Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang
    • Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Kampar

    Semester 4: Practice-oriented Master’s thesis
    Write your Master’s thesis at OTH Regensburg, at the partner university or in collaboration with a company, and benefit from international research and industry contacts.

    Result: Two recognised Master’s degrees.


  • Semesters 1–2: USM or UTAR

    Build a solid foundation in semiconductor technology.

    Semester 3: OTH Regensburg

    Gain academic experience in Germany, deepen your specialist knowledge and benefit from the close collaboration between the university, research and industry.

    Semester 4: Master’s Thesis with a Practical Focus
    Write your Master’s thesis in Germany or in collaboration with an industry partner.

    Outcome: Two recognised Master’s degrees.
