Invitation to the first semester welcome ceremony

On Friday, March 15th 2024, an information event on the following topics will take place for the first semesters of the Master's program in Electrical and Microsystems Engineering:

  •     9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.: Guided tour of the library (meeting point, room A001)
  •     10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.: general information, buddy program, mentoring, introduction to the student council, campus tour (room A001)

The official welcome of all first-semester students at the OTH and in the faculty will take place on Monday, March 18th 2024.

 

All:

  •     9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.: Welcome by the President of the OTH Regensburg, the Mayor of the City of Regensburg and the student representative of the OTH Regensburg (Room S 054)

Following the President's welcome, the welcome by the faculty management as well as the introductory events in the individual degree programs take place:

  •     10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.: Master Electrical and Microsystems Engineering: Welcome by the Head of Studies Prof. Dr. Rupert Schreiner and the International Affairs Officer Gudrun Seebauer (Room S 054)

    TheStudent Council ANK

    Students from all degree programs in the faculty are networked via the student council. The student council helps with questions about studying, knows the most important news about OTH Regensburg and has information and tips about student life, also off campus. Anyone who would like to get involved in the student council is very welcome!


  • If you have any questions about your degree program, you can contact the respective academic advisor:

    If you need clarification in a course, please note the following procedure:

    1. First talk to the respective lecturer about your concerns.
    2. If the discussion is not satisfactory, your next point of contact will be the respective head of degree program.
    3. After this discussion, you can also involve the dean of studies, if necessary.

    If you are looking for individual and confidential advice, you can contact the service and advice centers at OTH Regensburg.


    • The study and examination regulations (SPO) define the framework conditions for the degree program and describe the basic structure of the degree program.
    • The study plan graphically describes the regular sequence of courses in the entire degree program and is intended to provide orientation for study planning.
    • The study plan table is updated at the beginning of each semester and contains details of the current semester's courses, examiners and the type and duration of examinations.
    • The module handbook contains detailed descriptions of all courses in the respective degree program.
